- Location Information: With your permission, our mobile apps may access device location as described in the Customer app and Partner app sections below. We do not use location to sell advertising or to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Non-Personal Information: We leverage cookies and similar technologies, as detailed in our Cookie Policy, during your website visit to gather information that does not personally identify you but aids in optimizing our services.
Homy customer app
The Homy customer app does not track you for advertising, does not sell your personal information, and does not share your data with data brokers for tracking purposes.
- Location: We may ask for location access when you create or update your account so you can set a visit / delivery address. That address is used so an assigned chef can arrive at the correct place for your meal visit. We do not use customer location for advertising, App Tracking, or continuous background tracking of customers.
- Photos: If you choose a profile photo, it is stored on our systems for your account only—not for advertising or tracking.
- Payments: Payment details are processed by our payment provider (for example Razorpay) to complete checkout. We do not share payment information with advertising networks.
- During an active visit, you may see a partner's live location while they are en route. That is visit coordination only, not advertising tracking.
Homy Partner app
The Partner app uses location to operate visits. We do not sell partner location for advertising.
- Location: With your permission, Homy Partner may access location while you use the app and, when you start a trip, in the background (including when the app is closed or not in use) so we can provide live trip tracking while you are en route to a customer. Location may also help determine your service area or pincode during onboarding.
- Sharing: During an active en-route trip, your live location may be shared with the customer for that visit so they can track arrival. We do not sell location data.
- Control: You can revoke location permission in device settings, decline background access, or stop sharing by ending the trip. Revoking permission may limit features that depend on location (such as live trip tracking).
Location Data (summary)
Device location is accessed only after you grant the relevant operating system permission. Customer and partner uses differ as described above. We do not use location data to sell advertising or for App Tracking as defined by Apple.
Use of Information
Your data serves multiple essential purposes within our operations:
- Personalization: We use your information to tailor our services, providing a more personalized and relevant experience.
- Service delivery: We use account, visit, and location information to operate meal visits, partner assignments, and live trip tracking between partners and customers.
- Analytics: Aggregated data is employed for analytics, aiding in our website and apps' continuous improvement and optimization. This is not advertising tracking across third-party apps.
Data Sharing

We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate TheHomy (for example hosting, maps, messaging, or payment processing), and we may share a partner's live location with the relevant customer during an active trip as described above. We do not sell personal information. User privacy remains a paramount concern.

User Rights
We recognize and respect your rights regarding your data. You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal information. In the Homy customer and Partner apps you can delete your account from Profile. You may also contact us for privacy-related requests, and we will promptly address your concerns.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and know that your child has provided us with personal data, please get in touch with us. Suppose we become aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, in that case, we remove that information from our servers. If we need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing our information and your country requires consent from a parent, we may require your parent's consent before we collect and use that information.
